Skipchaser is an odd game with a fairly unique art-style. The art-style isn't incredibly high end or anything like that, what can you expect from an indie game? The game doesn't really seem to offer much guidance, no one to hold your hand as you bounce around a little village performing quests before getting beamed back up to your ship to customise your weapons. That… well… I mean, that is all you really do.There is a storyline, not a very interesting one, but it isn't the main focus of the game. Truthfully, I am not entirely sure what is! Hopefully, it is user enjoyment, as I most certainly enjoyed my time with this title.

A casual top-down shooter which allows you to build your own weapons from scratch; whilst there are more than a few parts that offer different upgrades there seems to be a very limited variation in what exactly you can do with your weapon design. Whilst you can make a few base guns such as the submachine gun and the rifle, there seems to be little else. You can pick between a variety of different variations of gear such as a different receiver or magazines that add their own bonus and drawbacks.
